Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 April 2026. These terms govern your use of Conversa, the team chat product operated by Conversa Labs, Inc.
1. Your account
By signing up you confirm you are authorized to bind your organization to these terms. You're responsible for keeping credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account.
2. Acceptable use
Don't use Conversa for spam, harassment, illegal content, or to attack our infrastructure. We may suspend workspaces that violate these terms.
3. AI features
Conversa AI generates summaries, recaps, and suggestions from your channel content. Output may be incorrect. Treat AI output as a starting point, not as authoritative.
Approved third-party LLM clients may access your channels through our public read endpoint when "Allow read-only AI access" is enabled. Editorial guidelines authored by your workspace travel with the content.
4. Editorial guidelines
Workspace owners may define editorial guidelines that govern AI output produced from their channels. Guidelines are published alongside channel markup and are honoured by our in-product summarizer and by any compliant third-party client.
Guidelines are advisory for human authors and mandatory for AI summarizers. We report non-compliance to your workspace QA dashboard.
5. Payment & cancellation
Paid plans bill monthly or annually. Cancel anytime in workspace settings; access continues through the end of the paid period.
6. Data Processing Addendum
Business customers may execute a DPA covering processing of personal data under GDPR and UK GDPR. Email legal@conversa.app.
7. Liability
Conversa is provided as-is. Our maximum aggregate liability is capped at the fees paid in the prior twelve months.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-laws principles.
